This is a DEMO of Solar System. This program is a fantastic encyclopedia about the Solar System. With this interactive encyclopedia you can get easily and faster, information about the Solar System planets. Inside this program you will find lots of photos, pictures, text, sounds, animations and a table with statistical data. This will be an important source of information for your school projects, to give you more information about the Solar System, give you moments of pleasure, among other uses you may give.
Using this program is very easy, you just have to click around with your mouse to get lots of information. But if you are having some problems in using it, press the info button (?) and then press the button "Working with this program". There you will find the meaning of each button. When you are in the index page, to get information about a certain planet or chapter, just press with the mouse the chapter you wish to read.
With this DEMO you are not allowed to use the text or pictures for school projects or other purposes, but you may copy it as you wish. You must buy the original program to get the authorisation.
With this DEMO you are not able to get all the information that the full version program has. That's why only some chapters are available like: Sun, Earth and Mars. You are also not available to print the information table and this table is not complete. If you like to get the access to all the information that the program provides, you must order it.
The full version of this program contains:
•information about all the topic areas presented in the index page;
•animations;
•the possibility to copy text and paste it into your documents;
•lots of photos and illustrations about all planets;
•a table with information about all planets and the possibility to print it
•authorisation for using the images and texts for research projects;
•a folder with text documents;
•Requirements:
Solar System requires at least a Macintosh LC, 4 MB of RAM, 2 MB of hard disk and system 7. This program may possibly work on system 6, but it wasn't tested. This is the 1.0 version of Solar System, this program will be updated every year according to suggestions, critics and new developments. I would like schools which use this program to send me suggestions.

What is MediaSoft?
MediaSoft Productions is a project borned on September 1995 and founded by Rui Duarte de Sousa Nóbrega. This project creates multimedia software for educational purposes.
The first production from MediaSoft was "Fantasy Tales". This program was released in DEMO versions on September 1995. There were made 3 language versions: Portuguese, French and English. This program was distributed on some magazines with CD-ROM.
Right after the release of "Fantasy Tales", I started producing "Solar System". I started its production on September 1995 and finished on January 1996. There are 2 language versions: Portuguese and English. The distribution of this program is also made with DEMO versions.
Meanwhile on October 1995 a new project began being developed. This program is named "AIDS" and gives lots of information about this disease. This program was exhibited on December 1995 in my school. It's only available in Portuguese and it's still under development, but an English version will be released.
After the release of "Solar System" new projects had been developed. Some of those programs are already available like: Periodic Table and Fantasy Tales II. Meanwhile, MediaSoft products only support the Macintosh system, probably by the end of this year, versions for windows will be released.
Other projects will be available by the end of 1996, in english versions. MediaSoft products is just waiting for suggestions for developing new software and update the actual software.
